It all started at Mount Hermon in 2011 when Esther and Emily were the only teens in the Mount Hermon Christian Writer's Conference Teen Track. From there, Esther met Kara and then Emily met Kara. We just keep meeting more of us - Writers who figured out what we wanted to do pretty early.
Our Facebook page Christian Teen Writers and this blog came out of a desire to share in the journey of becoming a writer and what we've learned. How on earth does one even become a writer?
It's all right here.
Emily is a twenty-two year old college grad with a BA in History and a minor in Bible and Theology. She started writing at fourteen, is an avid reader and loves a good historical fiction or Christian Romance novel. In 2012, she received the Mount Hermon Most Promising Teen Writer award.
Esther is an eighteen year old writer of multiple genres and can finish reading an entire book in a matter of hours. In 2015 she self-published her new-teen novel, "Capture of the Bible Bandits." When she's not writing, Esther choreographs Ballet with Rejoice Ballet.
Kara is a nineteen year old missionary kid. She was raised in the jungle, is a lover of books, and the 2015 recipient of the Mount Hermon Most Promising Teen Writer. You can find her debut novel, "Pearl of Merlydia" on Amazon.
